Midwest Low Vision
Helps Legally Blind See
Overcoming Low Vision
There is no cure for low vision, in
most cases, but devices have been
developed that take advantage of
the vision the patient has. Thousands
of people around the world have
improved their vision with the help of
Bioptics and other styles of telescopic
glasses.
These glasses act as miniaturized telescopes making images appear
larger, closer, and overall easier to see. This allows people to regain
many parts of their lives that had been taken away because of low
vision– such as reading, driving and seeing family faces.
DR. JARROD LONG
Midwest Low Vision
Midwest Low Vision was founded in 1997, by Dr Jarrod Long, with the goal of providing individual approaches for people with mild to severe vision loss. Dr. Long’s approach allows him to figure out what you miss about your vision and then provide a solution with that goal in mind, whether that is playing cards, reading a book, or driving to the
store. Midwest Low Vision is based out of Bloomington but has convenient offices located throughout Indiana.
