PROGRAM: No Obligation Demonstration of Low Vision Reading Machines & Scanners!
You’ve heard about them, seen them at a distance, or even have an older model CCTV (otherwise known as Closed Circuit TV or Video/Electronic Magnifier). Now is your opportunity to see the latest technology in low vision reading devices – and learn what is coming down the road! The demonstration will have a variety of Low Vision CCTVs. These include a variety of sizes and types including: Small hand-magnifier size CCTVs that will fit in a pocket or purse. Light, portable CCTVs that provide 4-6 inch screens (many of which can also be connected to a TV or Monitor to provide a larger viewing surface). Transportable CCTVs with the option of just the camera that can connect to your TV, or a camera already attached to a flat-panel 19 – 22 inch TV or monitor and that can view distance as well as close-up. Or the Solid, convenient desk-top CCTVs with adjustable monitors and trays, and multiple other options. They will also demonstrate several scanner/reader devices for the computer-savvy or not-so-computer-savvy person that read print aloud, for those unable to visually read print on a CCTV. Here is your opportunity for a no-obligation, hands-on experience with the latest low vision reading machines and the chance to have your magnification questions answered! Light refreshments will be provided.
