HELPING OTHERS

A few weeks ago a dear family friend had a detached retina. John was rushed to Memphis for eye surgery. Since I have had a detached retinas in both eyes I call to see how he was doing, and with the help from friends and family he is adjusting to post-surgery life. He will not be able to drive or pick-up anything heavy for a month. I reminded not to forget his drops. Keeping in contact with other people is an important part of recovery. He will have to adjust to having some vision loss.
